We believe that enrollment in our school should not be limited to families who are able to pay full tuition. Parents should indicate at application if they wish to be considered for financial aid. Currently, there are three programs available for those seeking financial aid:
1). Step Up For Students Program — This program is an initiative of the Florida Tax Credit (FTC) and is independent of Ambleside School. It provides K-12 education scholarships for qualifying low-income students who are entering kindergarten or first grade or attended public school the previous year. The scholarships give low-income parents the opportunity to attend Ambleside School (or other qualifying private school). Call (877) 735-7837 or visit https://www.stepupforstudents.org/ for more information.
2). Ambleside School Board Scholarships — If an applicant is ineligible for the Step Up For Students scholarship but still in need of financial aid, they may apply for a Board Scholarship. (Please determine whether or not you meet the eligibility requirements for Step Up For Students before applying for a Board Scholarship.) The School Board solicits charitable donations from individuals and organizations whose generous support provides funding for these scholarships. Ambleside Ocala makes use of FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to help us evaluate requests for financial aid. Call the school office to request a hard copy of this application or download and print Prelim App for Aid. Please keep in mind that no decisions regarding Board Scholarships are made until the admission process is complete and the child has been accepted for enrollment in the school. Availability of board scholarships is limited and is based on financial need.
Ambleside Ocala does not discriminate against applicants on the
basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in any of its policies or programs.
